On this page are the terms that LEXITUR has so that they can be known and accepted before taking a course. As a general rule, everything written on the www.lexitur.com website has been in force since the last update in August/22.

FACE-TO-FACE SPANISH COURSES 

In the face-to-face Spanish courses it is included:

  • The prices per day are those established on the web.  
  • Weekly course: 7 hours of class, at the rate of 1 hour of class per day.  
  • Each extra day: the classes and activities chosen.
  • Extra class of one hour: the price reflected on the web.
  • Activities, workshops and projects: what is mentioned on the web.
  • Thematic routes: everything manifested on the web. The price of the “Thematic Routes” are independent of the price per day.
  • Free extra day without class at the end of the chosen course, all meals are included.

ONLINE SPANISH CLASSES 

  • The prices are those established on the web.

ONLINE CREATIVE WRITING COURSES 

  • The prices and conditions are those described on the web.

ACCOMMODATION 

  • The accommodation is in our house. Accommodation and full board are included, as well as all the facilities displayed on the web.
  • The accommodation will be in room and own bathroom, which is not inside the room.
  • Smoking is not allowed in the house.
  • It is imperative to be polite and careful with the house and the building, as well as to have a correct behavior with all people.
  • Permission must be requested to carry out any activity outside the course, those that damage the properties or the health of the people living together in the house and the community of neighbors will not be allowed to be carried out.
  • The house is regulated by article 3 of Law 29/1994, of November 24, on Urban Leases and by the General Plan of Urban Planning of Burgos

PRICES, RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT 

Valid prices are those specified on the web.The procedure to make a reservation is as follows:

  • Write an email or a message by other means with the dates that interest you to see the possible availability.
  • Fill out a form to know the type of course and the different workshops and activities you want.
  • If necessary, an online video conference would be held to explain and specify all aspects of the requested course.
  • Confirmation of the course by both parties.
  • Make a reservation for 15% of the total course.
  • Pay the remaining amount at least one week before the start of the course.
  • You can send the money by Pay Pal or bank transfer to our account, in any of the cases the necessary correct data will be provided.Checks are not accepted. If there were any bank charges, they would be borne by the customer.
  • In the payment you must specify the full name of the person who will receive the course. We appreciate that a copy of the payment made is sent to us.
  • If during the course there is any extra expense not previously contracted, it can be paid in cash in euros.
  • If the client needs a certificate to obtain some financing, Lexitur can provide it once the full amount of the course has been paid.

CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS 

If, for any reason, a course has to be cancelled, this may be done provided that it is communicated in writing.In case of cancellation we will refund 100% of the amounts contributed, except in the following cases:

  • Voluntary abandonment of the course: the part equivalent to the days not enjoyed will be refunded.
  • Abandonment by expulsion: the part equivalent to the days not enjoyed at home will be refunded.
  • If the activity “Thematic Routes” had been chosen and the booked hotel no longer admitted the refund of the amount paid, it would not be refunded, as well as if there had been disbursement for the purchase of tickets for any activity.
  • Expulsion means that the person has demonstrated a violent attitude, that incites him or racism, xenophobia, discrimination of any person by any means, or consumes illegal drugs, gets drunk or prevents the normal development of the course and coexistence.
  • In case of return, the person who receives it will bear the possible bank charges.

HEALTH INSURANCE 

We highly recommend having health insurance that covers any circumstance of a possible illness. If you are from the European Community, the European Health Card should suffice, which must be requested in good time. For other countries it is very convenient to take out private health insurance that is valid for Spain.

TRANSPORT 

We will give information on how to get to Burgos from possible nearby airports.

The client will be picked up at the train or bus station of Burgos with our car, which we will also use for transport to places that require it; in accordance with Royal Decree 1211/1990, of 28 September, approving the Regulation of the Law on the Organisation of Land Transport, article 156.

All journeys in our car are included in the prices shown on the website.

RESPONSIBILITY 

Lexitur is not responsible in case of loss of objects. Nor if the course could not be taken due to force majeure by one of the two parties. In this case it would be a matter of looking for other alternative dates. If it is impossible, the amount paid in the terms of the previous section “CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS” will be refunded.

AUDIOVISUAL EQUIPMENT 

Lexitur teachers will be able to take photos and videos for their website and RRSS during any of the classes and activities carried out, provided that the client accepts it previously.

VISA 

It is the client’s responsibility to obtain the corresponding VISA to enter Spain if necessary.For citizens of the European Union it is not required.

PRIVACY 

We are fully committed to the security of the information received, so none of the client will be provided by any means, unless it is required of us through a court order.
