How is the course
- The Spanish inmersion course is a combination of classes and activities.
- The design of the course is done by you, with our advice, according to your preferences.
- The minimum duration is one week, then you can add the days you want up to three weeks. You can start the course any day of the week.
- Each day there will be an hour of class, and more can be added, and three hours of activities.
- Learning Spanish through immersion is guaranteed.
- The intensive course 5 day +1 stars every day,
- There are no lessons at the weekend.

Trip to the province: the north and its landscapes, the south with winery
As a complement to the Spanish inmersion course, we propose you to add a route of the two that we offer you:
- Wine tourism to know the wines of our province of denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero, Ribera del Arlanza and the places where they are located.
- Nature, to know the beautiful and evergreen landscapes of the north of the province of Burgos, in the Merindades, with villages full of charm.
- It would be a two-day trip with us, with one night on the route.
- It could be at the beginning, during or at the end of the course, in all cases you return to our house.
- The itinerary may change according to your interests.
- It will be done depending on the availability on the dates and weather conditions.
- Including hotel, entrance fees, transportation in our car, guide and full board.

SPANISH IMMERSION INTENSIVE COURSE 5 DAY + 1
In this program, you will learn or improve your Spanish while getting to know the three World Heritage Sites in Burgos: the Cathedral, the Camino de Santiago, and the Archaeological Sites of Atapuerca.
- 3 hours of Spanish inmersion classes in the morning at a location in Burgos while exploring the city.
- 3 hours of activities in the afternoon, visiting the Cathedral, the Cartuja de Miraflores, walking along the Camino de Santiago as it passes through the city, visiting the Atapuerca archaeological sites, and exploring the Museum of Human Evolution in the capital.
- We will also try some “pinchos” (small snacks) and wines from Ribera del Duero.
- Accommodation is provided in a hotel. We can recommend several options, or you can choose the one you prefer.
- The program is designed for 1 to 3 people. Please let us know if you are a family.
- It takes place from Monday to Friday.
- An additional day can be added on Saturday from for one of these excursions in the province:

This program is ideal for those visiting Burgos for a short stay, whether passing through or staying at a hotel, who wish to practice Spanish while discovering the city. Our guided tours include its most iconic monuments, charming streets, and scenic promenades. We will also recommend the best bars for enjoying traditional tapas and local wines.

· We have housed several students from other countries through the AFS-interculture organization and students from the United Kingdom on short exchanges with the school.
· We enjoy teaching our language and our city to people from other places, many times bonds of friendship are created that still endure.
TRAVEL EXPERIENCE
· We really like to travel. During the 2010-11 academic year we went around the world as a family over ten months.
· We are members of the home exchange association HomeExchange since 2003, we have done more than 100 exchanges with families from five continents, with some we have lived together in their home and / or in ours. Burgos
We live in Burgos, it belongs to the community of Castilla y León, the place of origin of Castilian or Spanish.
Burgos is in the north of Spain, between Madrid (240 km) and San Sebastian (210 km). From Madrid-Barajas airport there are buses to Burgos, where we would pick you up on arrival.
Burgos It has three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Cathedral, the Camino de Santiago and the Archaeological Sites of Atapuerca.
The population of Burgos is 177,000. It is easy to walk around the city and pleasant to walk through its parks. You will learn about the history of Burgos and its great gastronomy.
The province of Burgos is very varied:
- To the north: spectacular landscapes and unique villages
- To the south: vineyards, wineries and medieval villages
- To the east: mountain range, pine forests, archaeological and paleontological finds
- To the west: the Camino de Santiago
Our home
- Our house is very close to the center of Burgos, you can easily walk.
- Our apartment is next to the Camino de Santiago.
- There is a basketball court in the courtyard.
- In the neighborhood there is a supermarket, shops, bars, all a few meters away.
- Our apartment has four levels, in which there are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen
